<dc:description>It has been noted that in recent years collaborations between designers and engineers will be key to developing products that provide rich user experiences. However, there are gaps between designers and engineers. In this paper, we will introduce our design process in the Gangu project, in which we have been trying to develop a rapid prototyping method for designing electronic devices, and also explain our activities and experiences: Funnel toolkit and physical computing workshops for designers, engineers and students. By using the Funnel toolkit and experiencing workshops, designers will be able to handle events in "the physical" in the same manner as events in the GUI world, and develop working prototypes in a short time. We also mention future possibilities of our methods.</dc:description>
